Our Strategic Preparedness and Strike Center is a one-room repurposed office in the already overcrowded MEC office space. If the MEC isn't serious about this, why should a rank and file member get serious?

This is bass ackwards thinking.
You should be asking yourself questions like, "What if we called for a strike and no one even called in sick?"
You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.
This needs to be a grass roots effort. We need to show the MEC what we want starting with our individual actions.
