BYOB...in this market, everyone knows a guy...some know several. The question is do you know the right guy? I was equally as frustrated as you...I am on the pool side of the fence now, but I know hope you feel. I don't know anybody that has been hired without either knowing somebody or being able to check some kind of "government program" box. That being said, I bet half of the 12,000 applicants have 6000 plus of everything. Like the guy before said, focus on what you can control. Frequency of app updates, job fairs, chatting up jumpseaters, logbook currency...take a deep breath, because things can always get worse. It's not a perfect world, but we all live in it.
