MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY people before you made it through training without wasting money on a "jet course". Don't waste your money on it. Use that money to get your CFI, CFII, and MEI and instruct a while. You will thank yourself in the end that you got some experience as a CFI before diving into the airline life. With 250hrs you would have to go to one of the crappy regionals, and you WILL hate your life while there. The "I'm an airline pilot" thing wears off in a couple months, and then you wont care about flying that shiny jet, just about getting days off and the most pay. Go instruct for a year, then go to a company you WANT to go to, you will thank yourself later.
