Just passing on what happened to me and telling people that it's their career and to pay attention to what is going on time wise and be prepared. This forum and the spreadsheet are two pieces of information that helped my timeline a lot as I transitioned from one job to the next.
I would defiantly pay attention to the spreadsheet for an idea of what is going on. The hiring people told me to expect class in September. I started 2 months ago......

I understand things change, but knowing how many guys are ahead of you and what the latest hiring gossip is can help you plan at least a target timeframe. If I would have gone strictly on what the hiring guys said, I would have been blindsided and not able to make my class. My .02.
