9E will suck the life right out of you. I couldn't be happier with my choice to leave. The concessionary contract, the joke known as the SSP, and all 140 CRJ-200's going to the desert convinced me to get out. It was definitely a tough choice but I decided to do it when 1st year pay was $23. Now it's $30 with the 4 free hotels. It's doable. You just have to cinch your belt for a couple years. They just announced the postponed April upgrade glass will be going forward in August. I expect upgrade time to be about 2.5 years at this point.
Indeed. My last day at 9E was just over a month ago and after only 1 day in class at C5 I could honestly say it was the best decision.
No way upgrades will be as high as 2.5 years. I'm guessing much lower. Talked to PK today and they have 9 confirmed for June 2 and hoping for at least 1 more.
