I interviewed at DL a few years ago and they asked me one of these BS hypothetical questions. Had to do with a FA who wanted a PAX taken off the plane and I said if the FA wants the pax off the plane then they get off the plane. To me these are crap questions because you never have all the deets. I think they want someone who will do what the Capt wants with no questions asked, but what do I know, I didnt get hired!
I always answered that question with, I'd get as much information as possible before any action, also, I would write down what happened in case I needed to fill out a report, or have to make a statement about it later.
I think you need to think in terms of, "will my actions have an effect on safety, and if not, will my actions cause harm to the company", but I'm not HR....
