Well it was great! I should have hit the restroom before hand but that fault is all on me.
The AOPA rep basically went through 3 accidents and we just worked back from the original crash site pictures trying to identify what may have caused the crashes. It was great for me because I got my PPL by strictly studying the jeppesen material. I didn't really have any classes/teaching outside of that, so all of the information was cool and new to me.
Also a lot of the people who were there were individuals who I'm sure I will get to know soon (lots of cap members were there). I decided I am going to join a CAP squad nearby and get on a path to fly for them. Even though my full-time job is IT, I want to continue to fly regularly, and doing it for the community would make it even cooler.
