Taking normal leave for indoc then return on a Thursday...load up house over weekend...and then go on 86 days of terminal. Was hoping to have a month or two off this summer but couldn't pass up the opportunity and double pay keeps the family happy. Question about the timing of Indoc/Training/retirement date. Is there a point at which DAL requires you to be no-kidding retired? I.e., can you start training or IOE or sitting reserve or flying the line (ha!) while still on terminal leave/permissive TDY?
