I know this was asked previously but I could not find an answer. Heading to the 2 June class and looking for some information on a rough timeline to hold a line in the various aircraft. I understand that the 717 or 88 will be the fastest, but I'm trying to get an idea of how much longer for the 737 or 320. Any info is greatly appreciated.
If I had to guess, and this is all this is, I'd say, all other things being equal, the 88 and 71 would result in a permanent line about 2-6 months sooner. However its worth noting that even when you "get a line" in a more senior/slower progressing aircraft, your same seniority counterpart in the more junior/faster progressing aircraft will almost always have more relative seniority and more junior line holders below them. So even if "time to a line" was the same, the junior plane will typically get you more bidding power faster (days off you want, report/release times, etc).
