On a different note, I don't think Delta treats new hires as well as we should while you're in training. Training pay, no hotel, etc. Once out of your initial training, it is a whole different world. Welcome.
I think B6 is a great place to work with a lot of promise. Believe it or not, the decision to leave was difficult. If I was no-kidding living in base like the 190FO you speak of, it would be even more difficult.
But I'm very happy with my decision, and that's the only right answer. Nobody can pay me enough to be miserable.
