More like an allergic reaction to the idea of commuting to reserve indefinitely. I live 30 minutes' drive from SFO.

And as for SJS, sure, I love jets and enjoy flying them when I get the chance (C-525, CL-30), but I'd much rather live in base and fly something with propeller blades than commute to reserve. I have turned down a Lear and a Citation job because they would have forced me to move out of the Bay Area. I'm fine with commuting to reserve for a while, but I will only ever take an airline gig with an airline that has an SFO base. (And it doesn't hurt that the only regional with an SFO base is also the same regional I always saw myself working for, anyways.)
