A few of the NURPS never flew anything bigger than a BE1900 before becoming instant captains and check airmen. Nowhere else can someone with so little real experience have so much power and responsibility. Among their attributes to the company, aside from answering the phone 24/7/365, refusing no assignment, taking unairworthy aircraft, crossing any picket line, straightening magazines, cleaning toilets, making coffee, getting dry cleaning are...well...I guess there aren't any.
Oh yeah...wear hats and name tags.
