Yes, but it always seems like you can do better on Kayak.
If she's traveling in Sept, she should be able to get there on an S-2. May have to go a day or 2 early, and do a train or interline ticket. I went to southern France/northern Spain last Sept and took 4 buddy passers along. And of the twelve seats, only 2 got stuck in coach.
She's going to have to take a train to get to Heidelberg anyway. That gives you FRA,MUC,DUS,STR,ZRH,BRU. Lots of ways to get to CDG/AMS/LHR and then do an interline(used to be Zed fare) to FRA/STR.
As long as she's a little flexible on the days, she'll save a bunch of $s (S-2 only costs you the tax/fee, less than $100), sit in business class, get over the jet lag in a hotel that costs a fraction of the confirmed coach seat.
I've done probably a dozen European vacations, always May or Sept, and only had to sit in coach once.
