Buddy of mine that wrapped up IOE in April is holding an move up line next month on the 190 in BOS. So, he only spent May on reserve. A lot probably depends on when you come in and when you finish up training. If you finish IOE right before spring or summer, you're more likely to hold a line since the flying increases. Finish late summer or early Fall, you'll probably hold a line in December and on the bubble/back to reserve in January depending on how many guys come in behind you.

190 still seems to be the fastest way to holding a line, but if you want FLL or LGB, I'd still try to bid the Bus and suck it up on reserve in JFK or BOS. From the way things have been going, it seems you an get FLL or LGB earlier than the 2 year equipment lock on the 190. For that fact, I could have even held MCO 320 FO on the supplemental, but I was equipment locked on the 190 for another 6 days after the effective date of the bid. That and reserve in base with few to no red eyes really has me spoiled.
