It's not a matter of convince. It is not needed at the moment. I have worked at two ALPA airlines and all that got me was furloughed twice. It kinda defeats your argument that SkyWest is "riding your coattails" when guys who leave ALPA regionals and come to Skywest get pay increases and better QOL. It would be a lot easier to vote in a union if it had benifits, and the only way for that to happen is for ALPA to actually improve their representation of the regionals.
