The half wing is mostly on the Ual side of the house. My buddy on 756 said in his first year he had 1 yes 1 captain treat him to anything. On the 737 there are more than a few but from what I see and hear the Ual side treats the half wing much better fwiw.
It's a nice tradition! However, I think a "blanket" statement like this is nothing but decisive!! Maybe that was your intent though? I treat most (not all) FO and FA to something! What I dislike is the entitlement that some people have. I've found most "half wing" pilots don't have that yet!! But, to get on here and say one side is better than the other is naive!! And if you carry that attitude to your trip probably doesn't get you many beverages!! Look at prior posts, seems to me we are all alike!! (in many areas, not just this one!!)
