No, not "shut up and color." It just sounds like you're whining over not much.

The JA rates were designed for a single pay rate, and didn't make a whole lot of sense even then. So what would make you happy? Single pay rate for both aircraft? Me too, but you and I know it's not going to happen. So the JA rates are now a percentage of pay. Of course that implies that the EMB will result in less money than the Airbus. Maybe you'd like a 50% JA rate. That would make the JA rates on the EMB about the same as before. But look out! That would mean more money for the Airbus. The bastards! Maybe you'd like to leave the old rate alone. That would mean that some EMB pilots are getting close to a 60% JA rate, while the Airbus pilots get much less. Yah, that's "fair". Seems the me the "fairest" way to go is a straight percentage, and that's exactly what has happened. The only mistake I see here is that the new JA rates should have been implemented before the E-190 bid, not after. That does seem like a slap.
