I am assuming Vegas would be the fastest base to get a line. And once a pilot gets a line, is it easy to get a line that is worth about 90 hours of pay or to build up to that?

I am asking all these questions because, first I have to take a pay cut to go to Spirit and I am trying plan a budget for that.
Once you get a line, it won't be built with 90 hours. You'll have to try and pick up time (100% pay useless a JRM). LAS and DFW have little in the way of open time. FLL always seems to have plenty red eyes open for the taking of you need 90 hours

Getting hours isn't hard but when you're in training for two months, the pay is bad. Once on the like you will be reserve and you will not get anything about 72. Once you get a line, you'll be too junior to enjoy swaps during initial open time. So best case is month 5 or 6 you'll be able to add red eyes to your line that was built at 74 hours to start the month.
