My personal fave welcoming speech: "We hope you enjoy your stay in Boston, or wherever your final destination may take you."
Your destination doesn't "TAKE" you anywhere. Your destination is where you ARRIVE. Either say "wherever your final destination may BE", or "wherever your TRAVELS may take you".
I know it's supposed to sound whimsical, but it really just sounds stupid.
