It is a valid observation by the OP. I post on other forums, mainly vehicle maintenance forums, and don't see anywhere near the amount of ridiculing that goes on around here.
Considering religion and politics are off limits, its quite amazing that people are still bashed for harmless comments, opinions, and general observations.

Maybe most airline pilots are egotistical narcissists after all. My wife seems to think so!
