I have only flew for military and government. Reading all these forums it's hard to decide if it's better to go to a legacy or wait for UPS/FedEx. With all the retirements at the legacies it would be a lot quicker upgrade. Looking at the pay charts seems that the pay would average out over time (longer upgrade at UPS/FedEx). Can anyone shed some light on contracts/QOL/benefits. My ultimate goal is to have more time off and better economic future for family. Working 40hrs/week and being capped in pay as a GS is getting old quick.
