As for the new Pinnacle pseudo flow, another dropped ball WRT DCI.
This will do nothing to stem attrition there. This will do a lot to further disrupt their already almost collapsing operation by inflaming resentment towards DL by current PCL pilots. Any "benefits" to DL (of which there really are none) won't take effect for about 5 years. It can apparently be terminated by PCL. And since DL already has to take 35% DCI ALPA pilots, this will increase the PCL hire numbers very little. When it does take effect, there will be mass "seniority jumping" by an entitled class of junior pilots over senior pilots at PCL, which will inflame things even more.
If anything, I'd say this was an attempt at flight school recruiting propaganda. Sort of a modern version of "Being Owned By Delta Means Everything!" It may be ever so slightly successful in that regard, but many of the pilots they get on the hook this way will still leave for other airlines anyway.
In the meantime, any pilot on either side of this poorly thought out line will still apply to several other places also needing lots of pilots and will go if called anyway.
