I do feel your sarcasm , but the real answer to chasing it would be to poll the new hire classes to see what percentage chased it and what percentage stuck it out. TPIC can’t be the only standard to get an app pulled because if that were true every new hire class would be dominated by bottom tier companies that quickly gain TPIC. It’s really only a 4 year spread between a quick upgrade like Compass and long one like Eagle, so the question is what else do the “unconnected” legacy new hires have in common, and will chasing that yield a higher chance of an app pull than chasing something that comes to you in seniority order at any company.
