I understand the history of all the bankruptcy contracts and furloughs at the legecy carriers but the pay and retirement is very good. With all the mergers the airline industry has stableized.
You can make the same or more your second year at United, Delta or AMR that Frontier pays at year 12. Starting pay is twice as much. As far as the training contract goes, I think you are better off going to a legecy and paying it if you have to. Financially you will be better off. A FO at UAL on 8th year pay can make that much in 1 month if you work it. Good luck either way.
