I will be happy to take the same test that the Western Airlines pilots and the NWA pilots took to become a current DAL pilot. Is it or was their test the same test being given now to everyone coming to DAL? I may not have taken DAL's SAT test and interview but then they did not issue me any ratings and qualifications at 9E without any effort and study. Nor did the FAA look the other way. Same with most regional pilots if not all.

I don't care if I go to DAL or not but I don't need to go be interviewed or take DAL SAT to justify my competency either.
All of us took the test. Blue Angels, astronauts, Mesaba LCA's, AF heavy drivers..none of us thought our crap didn't stink. I don't know what Western or NWA guys had to go thru..but I'm sure they prepared for it and didn't throw their "yrs of experience and FAA certificate's" out to be exempt from whatever was required of them to get the job.
I look forward to hearing how you turned down your SSP interview because you were too competent to take a silly test.
