But would they not have have faced that SAME liability with a pilot coming from a wholly owned pre 9/11?
After all, the SSP is a guaranteed interview ONLY, NOT a guaranteed job.
There's a crap ton of avenues one could go down as far as "being responsible". Especially as it relates to pilots whoever aren't going through the full process.
The way the whole thing has panned out is interesting for sure.
