The pool should be pretty close to empty by now. People who we're waiting for July - November classes have already been informed of earlier class dates including the May 19 to June 16 classes.

Delta originally wanted roughly 350-450 pilots for year of 2014. Now it has increased to roughly 800-900.

Reportedly for the next two months it's supposed to be 100 hires. Beginning in August 72 hires per month for the remaining of the year.

The goal is to send pilots straight to training without a pool. Also after the offer on the spot the push is for 2-3 weeks before class starts.
