What are the rules on shoes? Other than black, do they need to be laced, or are loafers ok? I'm guessing my Navy Bates will work, but they're not the most comfortable things. Not that they've seen a lot of use during my flying tours.
The FOM answer is:
Shoes
• Must be black, plain toe, smooth leather, lace or
slip-on type.
• Females - May wear conservative black pumps
(maximum 2 inch heels). No open toes or sides.
• Shoes must be kept polished and in good condition.
Boots
• Must be black, plain toe with no buckles.
• The top of the boots must not alter the smooth line of the pants.
