SW pilots provided the flex for the company to be able to get pax to their destinations if they need to and are willing to pay. In turn, SW flies every SW pax end to end in the USA.
While the other majors became a haves (mainline) and have-nots (RJ) world, the SW family of pilots have created an entire group of haves.
And because PAX do get to their destinations, this group, despite getting paid more than others, also get's lots of traffic. So not only is everyone a have at SW, their are lots more haves.
