Indeed! Dishing out $20k for a job that pays $20k first year is, uh, pretty dumb as most sane folks would tend to agree (I hope). I like flying, but I don't want to go broke chasing some dream that likely will end up becoming a nightmare. And all the flight schools could be as packed as they want right now...if poor CFIs can't pay for the new ATP requirements, there won't be many showing up at the door for regional jobs in a few years.
