I did just switch over to a CRJ class. Am I a dumbass for going to XJT now? I do have class dates with a few other regionals as back-up plans.
Yes. Don't even bother to get into this industry. It is not worth it, go pursue something else. But if you do get into this industry, have a budget that will sustain you on 75 hours of FO pay. I have done that and even tho I make CA pay, I can survive on 75 hours FO pay. Try to be frugal until you are well established at a company that sells it's own tickets.
