You may not care how we compare against other airlines but if we are working for release from the NMB they will. It's a key component of total pilot block hour cost. I fully realize that some of the productivity issue is the result of managements fleet plan choices where they seek out every orphaned and bastard aircraft type to operate. DALPA will certainly have to make that point in negotiations but they are also going to have to provide numbers on what shortfalls are contractual verses fleet plan against our competitors.
Curious thing using your "inside knowledge" to cherry pick reasons we have "no leverage". What is it you hope to accomplish? Just doing your part to let us know we shouldn't expect much? What a guy!
