Airline pilots can't just wander back and use the head and grab a drink on the way...an FA has to occupy the cockpit in place of the pilot, so if she didn't have time to hand up a coke, she probably didn't have time to hang out up front either.

Actually on a 4 hour flight, there would be no reason she wouldn't have time...the CA should have just ordered her to serve the crew. Four hours is too long to ignore physiological needs. If she declined, kick her @ss off the plane on the next turn.

On rare occasions I'll help an FA with her bag but it's not practical to do it all the time. The ones that have problems with luggage are usually new, and they just need to learn (the hard way) to pack light and configure their bags ergonomically.

Thanks for pointing out the obvious, really needed it. Tho, the message that I was trying to get across was to get over his child like whining and get real, if dehydration was the problem, something tells me that could have been remedied by the bottle of water these gals usually leave for each of us before the pax even bother to come on board. Also, note that in the original post it was her lack of aptitude to make coffee for them that have made Saab go off the wall for nothing.

Also, pointing out the suitcase issue was not to show a matter of practicality but rather to point out that while Saab expects the FA to tend to his needs, I am almost positive he has never bothered to do the same for anyone. Also, since when being a gentleman, and more over that a human been considered an added curriculum to our jobs description. Also please note I have pointed it out on a rainy day to make sure a lady doesn't slip on the airplane's steps.

Nothing like returning a favour and pointing out the obvious.

When did you guys all become even bigger primadonnas than the ladys working in the back of our airplanes?... no wonder aviation is not what it used to be, pilots def. contribute thier fair share to that! yuck.
