It seems to me that ALPA has very little influence in the current political environment. ALPA hasn't had a win on a national issue in a long time. How is caving on the Age 60 issue going to increase ALPA's influence with Congress, or the Administration? The rationale for changing positions on the age 60 issue doesn't hold water.
