I have deadheaded on 90s twice in the last week, two different tails. Both times, the APU was out. One was continuing to PHX. I guess that's one way to save gas on APU usage.

Anyone know how many 90 APUs are out at any given time, and why the company permits this gross malfeasance in the summer?
