I assume once you get to SIMs in CLT, MEM or STL, the schedule is more hectic since SIMs generally run 24/6, but any more details on that part too would be great.
Thanks from a NH inbound in about 8 days
Ignore the last poster...you have made a good choice...Indoc is generally 8-5 m-f for 2 weeks systems the same. No classes on weekends but they are held on holidays if its a weekday.
I wouldn't worry about weekend travel as you should spend that time studying. You won't get your crew badge to Jumpseat until after Indoc and even then crew badges are usually not until the entire class background checks are complete...which will happen sometime before you complete systems.
Weekend jumpseating from ATW is a challenge anyway...NHs are lodged in the Radisson downtown so you might as well stay and enjoy yourself...unless you have some sort of obligation at home. They will tell you in class you are here to study and pass training so they recommend limiting outside plans until you are finished.
As for sim...you won't learn your sim time until systems...you'll get about 5 days of CPT and then at least 10 sim sessions including the checkride...sims are scheduled 8 hours a day including pre and post briefs...your instructors will explain the correct details...but that's usually what you can expect.
