This whole "XJT declaring bankruptcy" is exactly what the poster said, a rumor. Will this happen in the immediate future, as in tomorrow, or within the year?...Probably not. Is this a strong possibility of happening if a JCBA and profitable contracts with mainline partners are not hammered out?...Yes, absolutely. Until then, I'm not concerned with a potential bankruptcy.

With that being said, getting back to the most recent topic of the L-XJT MEC making it clear they are in favor of SmartPref over Flightline. While this is 100% their call as we are still separate pilot groups with separate MEC's, can somebody please explain to me the huge resistance that L-XJT seems to have with Flightline? This was the issue that caused much of the delay in reaching the last TA, and it seems that it is going to happen again. I am a L-ASA FO and I don't have an issue with Flightline, but I'm very interested in learning why SmartPref is a much better system than Flightline and if SmartPref is worth a detailed look over by the ASA MEC and pilot group. For the record I am being 100% serious with the last sentence, not flame baiting in any way.
