As for people worried about "new" pilots upgrading, it's been done before and now pilots have to have at least a 1000 121 time. That should make it a touch safer than in 2007 when there were many street captains flying jets around.

What? There are only another 10-15 guys with either CLT, IAD or ORD CRJ CA on their bid sheet who were hired prior to 2013.
Everyone else senior to 2013 hires are holding out for either PHX CRJ CA or IAH E175 CA.
