I am extremely stoked to have the opportunity to fly with F9!! I just hope I don't blow it... Retiring military with very limited interview experience.

I have gone through the thread and a lot of my questions were answered. But I wanted to float a few more. Any insight is greatly appreciated...

How long will a new hire expect to sit reserve? Is holding a line for a new hire a long way away?

Is reserve still split up between long, mid and short?

So when did F9 park the last 318?
checksix72, that is GREAT! Congrats man!

How long a newhire sits reserve will depend entirely on whether or not hiring continues at this steady clip or abates. If the current rate of hiring keeps up, you can probably expect 6 months on reserve - would be my best conservative guess. But again if hiring slows that will change dramatically.

Within a month or two out of IOE you should be able to hold whatever shift on reserve you desire if days off aren't important to you. Probably even hold long or medium call schedules.

Ages in my recent class were mid forties to early twenties and everything in between.

What's a 318?
