Guys, I know for a fact that they will call people who only have the min hours.

Frontier's process is quite impressive.

They aren't calling based on any hourly formula or computer generated 'spit you out of the pile BS'. Actual people are looking at this stuff. If you get a call it is because A. your cover letter and/or resume struck a chord with them, and they want to meet you, B.Your F9 buddy's letter of rec struck a chord with them and they want to meet you, C. you got a silver bullet, or D. a combination of all of the above.

This is the way all hiring should be done. F9 is investing in people that will further their culture as well as pass training, and operate their aircraft well.

The one thing I hate about our industry is the "hoops" we must jump through to get hired at companies. "hoops" that have little to do with your abilities, or contributing personality.

There are no "hoops" here. The interview process is adept at figuring out your true intentions, and whether or not you're hard to sit next to for hours at a time. It is a fun and enlightening process. You will meet lots of Frontier pilots as well as other F9 personnel. You'll learn, by observation, more about F9 than you can imagine. The realness of their process is almost wile in it's practical sophistication. If you're the guy for the job, you will get it period. If you're not, you wont.

I'm not a koolade drinker either - I'm just thoroughly impressed with their hiring process, and I wish they would patent it and sell it for millions of dollars to all these other idiotic HR departments at other airlines.

If Frontier as a whole can embody the savvy & integrity that their current hiring process has there will be absolutely no stopping this airline going forward.
