I love the Puget Sound and wouldn't want to see it destroyed in the name of modern advancement, but perhaps it's time to think like Hong Kong or Japan and build a brand new airport on reclaimed land out in the water and connected by rail, a new freeway into Seattle and even by boats and cruise ships.
I used to live there. It would take four decades and eleventy trillion dollars to get that project off the ground in the PNW. Forget it. I love that place too, but big transportation projects or the lack thereof are keeping it from being a really nice place to live and work.
