Agree. Who outside of commercial aviation knows/uses the terms FO/CA? To the public, the pilots sit in the little room up front.
Yeah..... no one outside the secret world of aviation would dream of such hard to understand terms. I've
never heard an FA announce who the Captain and First Officer are for today's flight.
"Didn't I tell you not to use my name!!"
"Even if I use your code name?"
"Oh.... right.... my code name."
"Y'all here that?............ we're usin' code names."
It is still a weird post, I agree - but not because he happened to use CA/FO.
