I really think GPA is the reason for no interview yet. I have not heard of one person get an interview that has less than a 3.6 GPA yet. Unless they are well connected the norm right now seems to be 3.6 or higher.
I would think a 3.1 Engineering would be adjusted to at least a 3.8 in most other majors..??
