There is a deep military history at Air NZ so they do look after you guys, and they understand that it can be tough to get the ATPL while in the military. They do the ATPL ride on one of your regular sim hops when you meet the requirements. As an aside, you might want to look at converting straight to an Aussie, then over to the Kiwi with the trans Tasman agreement. Not sure about Oz, but it might be easier for the military guy's licence wise.
