Hi Koru, Got the T-Shirt at Tegucigalpa myself. LOL
I got an e-mail from Margie this morning answering a few of my questions. She did mention that ANZ will require me to convert over to the ATPL. But she was also under the impression that all I will have to do is sit the Air-Law Exam. I will have to break the bad news to her of the ASL ruling on what will be required of me to convert. She seems like a very nice lady who is very approachable with questions.
Okay now for a logbook question...I have a true logbook for my civilian time...about 500 hours of GA time. My military time is all on military records only. Unfortunatley it is only by totals (individual aircraft and overall totals)not individual flights. Do you believe this will this be a hinderence?
Lastly the dates are set!!! Unless of course the baby decides to show early. Right now I will be heading down 31 May on NZ Flt 5 and departing 24 June on NZ Flt 2. I will actually be in Auckland by midday on Friday the 22 of June to hopefully meet Margie and turn in my application and medical information. I will be around Sat and Sunday as well. If you are around during that time I would love to meet you and buy you a beer. And if you have the time I would appreciate and introduction to Margie.
Cheers,
JD
