We have had UHC through my company and TRS as a secondary. TRS has been - transparent. When my wife calls them for her very odd/demanding (leukemia) meds, etc - it's no issue. They are secondary, but in many cases we have the Drs send scripts to Tricare only due to cost. 1 med through UHC with TRS as secondary is $125 copay. (7k without) - TRS only? $0. Yes. $0.

If you can get a lower plan through your company and TRS as secondary it's a good deal - assuming you will save $ overall - we do.
