Once in UPT there is still a substantial washout rate. Many are high time pilots who fail to finish.

This isn't a problem, I have already passed my DOD MERB and been cleared for a flight medical as I was in ROTC for a year in college before I needed to quit because it was taking up too much time (I started making B's

) so I decided I had the grades to do OTS if I wanted later.
