Getting close to landing the FA was in the cockpit as the other pilot was on a potty break and the FA asks me how the weather is. I told her "Its good except the visibility is down to 3 miles"

Her response "Can the human eye even see something three miles away?"

I respond "You can see the moon can't you"?

She says "Oh ya. I guess you're right"
