You would be correct if Endeavor wasn't a wholly owned. You see, the breach of the EtD has to be outside of the control of Delta, while 9E is a wholly owned, there is nothing outside of Delta's control.
Still a slippery slope argument. For an agreement that can be cancelled anytime, I wouldn't overestimate anything. You need to be a CA. It doesn't matter why one doesn't upgrade but if you don't, I wouldn't count on Delta still taking an EtD. The whole point of that agreement is to get pilots to fill seats at E, not D. Didn't you watch the Mesaba flow go poof first hand? I would think you'd know best when it comes to Delta.
