We picked our own callsign one boring night out of Offutt (sp?) AFB. Since we were flying 707s, our callsign ended in "heavy." So, thinking it would be funny, I used SESNA 52 as our callsign. We all thought it was pretty funny until the Wichita controller told us we had to change the callsign- Cessna is proprietary (sp?). Anyway- for about 20 min until we switched, the crew and controllers had a few chuckles when they heard "SESNA 52 Heavy checking in Flight Level 240"
